INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

Applicants for refugee status are given a pre-screening interview.  Because we have over 57,000 applications, the waiting period for a pre-screening interview can be up to several years from the submission date of the Preliminary Questionnaire. For instance, in December 2007 we were interviewing Cubans who received an information letter from us in January 2005.

If you received an information letter in May 2005 or before and you have not been cited for an interview, please call the Refugee Office at (53)(7) 836-0199 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm to confirm an appointment date.
